A
Your child should be keeping a reading log at home. Reading logs are a tool children have been in the habit of filling in during the school year. We encourage you to foster the continuation of this routine during the summer months.

It is a goal for all of our students to meet or exceed the standards by reading at least twenty-five books or book equivalents per year. In addition, the Grade Level and Grade Span Expectations are explicit in providing opportunities for all students to develop habits of reading, read widely and read extensively. With your help during the summer months, your child will be working towards these goals. We ask that you monitor your child
