Q: When can I pick up my paycheck?

A:  You may come to the Administration Building on Thursdays to pick up your paycheck. 

Q:  What if I can't pick up my check by Thursday, do you hold it?

A:  If your check has not been picked up on Thursday by 4:00 PM, it will be automatically mailed out to you.  If you would like us to hold your checks past Thursday, you will need to call the Business Office at 821-3010 to verify that you would like to have your check held.

Q:  What if I lost my check?

A:  If you have a lost or stolen check you need to contact Susan Cucca to have a check reissued to you.

Q:  What happens if payroll falls during school vacation?

A:  If payroll falls during school vacation, the Teachers AND Substitute Teachers will be paid the Thursday before vacation. 

Q:  How do I sign up for direct deposit?

A:  You need to download the direct deposit form from this website send the completed form to Susan Cucca in the Administration Building.

Q:  How long will it take for my direct deposit to go through?

A: It will take about 2 payrolls before the direct deposit will go into effect.

Q:  When will my money be deposited into my account?

A:  Your money will be deposited into your account at midnight on Thursday mornings. 

Q:  I have graduate credits and I don't know how to go about getting paid for my graduate credits.

A:  If you have approved graduate credits, you should contact Michael Petrarca, Director of Administration and make an appointment with him to go over your graduate credits so you may begin receiving credit for them.

Q:  I was just married and I need to change my name, address and add my spouse as my beneficiary, what forms do I fill out?

A:  If you are a Teacher, you will need to fill out a Change of Information form to change your name and address with Employees Retirement System of RI and you will also need to fill out a Beneficiary Nominationform to change your beneficiary with the Employees Retirment System of RI.  You will also need to fill out a Change of Address/Name Form to change your name/address with the Business Office and you will also need to contact Gloria Silveira in Benefits to add your spouse to your health insurance plan.

Q:  I am interested in starting a 403 B, but I'm not sure how to get started.

A:  If you know a broker or an accountant that can get you started with a vendor you can download a Vendor Listing to help you get started or if you don't know anyone that can get you started with a company there are phone numbers listed on the Vendor Listing so you can contact a company that you are interested in directly.  Once you have completed the enrollment process with the company of your choice you will need to download a Salary Reduction Agreement and send the completed form to the Payroll Department.

Q:  I would like to enroll in Aflac Insurance, who do I contact?

A:  If you are interested in enrolling in Aflac, you may contact our representative, Dennis Rowe at 401-315-5022 or by email at denrowe@netzero.net

Q:  If I would like to enroll in Aflac, do I have to wait until open enrollment?

A:  No, if you are interested in enrolling in Aflac you may enroll in an AFTER TAX policy any time during the year, if you are interested in a PRE-TAX policy you will have to wait until open enrollment.

Q:  When is open enrollment for Aflac?

A:  Open enrollment is the month of November each year.
