Fri 9/24/2010 11:58 AM Ihave a couple quick questions to help us with the process of getting you thecorrect pricing and equipment.
Onthe bid, it is asking for 50 HP NC 6120 notebooks and also 180 HPDC5000’s. These two items are discontinued items so I was wondering ifyou want pricing for recertified products or if you want pricing on the newproducts that replaced them. For the NC 6120 it will most likely be theHP 6450 notebook and the DC5000 is now the DC6000. Please let me know ifyou want pricing for the new products that replaced those discontinued items orif you want pricing on recertified units for the exact items on the bid.
WWPS Response: We are looking for recertified products that meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid for both the notebooks, monitors, and the desktop units.
Comments: Jim, I am the NE sales MGR for SANYO. Just seeing this bid. Wehave the XD2200, or a brighter XD2600 unit that is a commercial grade, offers agreat warranty, has not extruding parts ( to break off) that I am sure comes inless than the NEC unit. Any chance of meeting with you to give you a demo of theunit, or send it to you for possible review? WWPS Response: We will accept either of the products listed above as long as they meet the specifications outlined in the bid request. Feel free to provide pricing on both products. We will compare like products when we review the bids.
