WWHS Band Camp: 

The dates of Band Camp are scheduled for Mon., August 23^rd-Thurs., August 26^th. Band camp is free for all WWHS students and annually kicks off the school year. All Band students should attend. In addition, students will be able to get Entertainment Books to start the first major fundraiser of the school year. 
Each day camp starts at 9:00am sharp and runs until 2:00pm at the WWHS Band Room (room 157).  Please use the side entrance near the custodian room/auditorium. A cookout will be held at 1:00PM in the back parking lot on Monday! The schedule is as follows:

Mon. 8/23: Full Band Camp Day 1: All Concert Band and Wind Ensemble members (Band members should report to camp by 9:00AM - please be on time).
Percussion will be meeting with Mike Murdock…Cookout at 1:00PM!
Tues. 8/24: Full Band Camp Day 2: All Concert Band and Wind Ensemble members report BY 9:00AM.  Percussion will be meeting with clinician Mike Murdock. Various clinicians and section leaders will be helping as well and holding sectional rehearsals. Entertainment Book Fundraiser kicks off at 1:30PM!
Wed. 8/25 AND Thurs. 8/26 Jazz Camp Day 3 & 4: For All Jazz Band students
Any student who wishes to explore the jazz band should attend these two days. Please remember, ALL students who sit in a Jazz Band class, must also have a Concert Band listed on their schedule. Check out the jazz bands this week!!!!
   
Band Camp will consist of musical activities, lessons, guest clinicians, percussion ensemble, and fun!!  WWHS Band Camp is free and mandatory for all band members. Please have your instrument and accessories with you and be sure to bring a pencil.  You will need a pencil with you every day.
