Policy on Lending of Textbooks for Non-Public School Students
West Warwick Public Schools shall accept orders for textbooks for non public students each year only within the posted dates in order for the district to assure receipt in time for the start of school. The only obligation the district has is to provide textbooks, not cash reimbursements.
Any person who fails to order their books during that time may order later but will be required to wait for the books to arrive. No refunds of purchases will be allowed. In addition, any person who chooses to purchase books at the school, or any books required by the schools that are not on the state approved list will not be eligible for reimbursement from the West Warwick School Department.
Parents/Guardians ordering books beyond our posted period must sign a statement acknowledging their understanding and acceptance that the book(s) not in stock will not be ordered.
It is the responsibility of the borrower to return the book(s) undamaged, or pay for restitution.
Borrowers must return textbooks at the end of the school year. Failure to do so will jeopardize further lending of books.

FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN OR ANY NEW STUDENT
Incoming freshman, or any new student who does not have books to return will again be able to order their books online. All students who attend non-public secondary schools may borrow Science, Mathematics, History/Social Studies, Foreign Language and Language Arts.
Please be sure to fill out online forms completely and accurately. Failure to do so may result in a delay receiving your books.
All orders MUST be received no later than August 4, 2023.
LATE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED
Please download and email orders for the 2023/24 school year or print and bring with you during the hours listed below.
Book returns must be delivered on the dates below ONLY. Orders can emailed at any time and also be dropped off on these dates at:
(Please call 825-6654 when arriving to the parking lot, the doors will remain locked. The process will be explained at that time)
NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER AUGUST 4, 2023.
THE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TEXTBOOKS NOT ORDERED BEFORE THIS TIME
Emailed forms is the preferred method of ordering and can be sent any time.
Please forward your book orders to email@example.com once you receive your book list from your students school.
We will begin putting together your 2023/24 books as soon as possible and be in touch with your for pickup
No orders will be accepted unless all books are returned from the previous year.
No reimbursements will be made for books purchased privately.
